Meet Andrea Smith ASDN
Andrea Smith started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant, but soon realised it wasn’t enough. She wanted to be more involved and active in her patients’ care, treatment, and outcomes. This led her to complete a degree in dental hygiene.
Advanced periodontal disease is Andrea’s area of focus. She’s passionate about treating it and building her skills in the area, and has proved to be very popular with our patients due to her thorough and gentle approach to treatment.
Education and Continuing Studies
Andrea is a graduate of Curtin University, earning her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009, and has been with Mount Pleasant Dental Centre ever since. She continues her education with courses related to the hygiene field to provide her patients with the best care possible.
